Hang-up boxes:
When the Syntor X microphone is in the hang-up box, the switch
is closed and the receive PL/DPL decoding is enabled. When the
microphone is removed, the switch opens and the receive PL/DPL
decoding is disabled. The PL/DPL disable switch opens the circuit
to disable the receive PL/DPL decoding, regardless of where the
microphone is. Be careful, not all hang-up boxes work this way.
All of these PL/DPL hang-up boxes should work with the Syntor
X:
HLN4024A - Hang-up Box (Mitrek)
HLN4025A - Hang-up Box with PL/DPL Disable Switch (Mitrek,
Motrek)
HLN4188A - Hang-up Box with PL/DPL Disable Switch (Syntor,
Syntor X 800 MHz, Syntor X)
HLN4830A - Hang-up Box with PL/DPL Disable Switch for HHCH (Syntor X)
Handsets:
Handsets are telephone type handsets with a built in PTT switch:
HLN1220B - Complete kit with HUB (Syntor
X 9000 / X 9000E, Spectra, A7 MaraTrac)
HLN3141B - Complete kit with HUB (Maxtrac,
GM300, M120, M130. M208/216, SM50, SM120, SM1225)
HMN4033A - (Syntor X 9000 / X 9000E, Spectra,
A7 MaraTrac)

TMN6067A - Duplex (Micor Syntor, Syntor
X 800 MHz, Syntor X, basic MaraTrac)
TMN6152A - Trunked (Trunked Syntor X)
Handset hang-up cradles:
The handset hang-up cradle is only slightly more complicated
than the hang-up box. The cradle is used with the telephone type
handsets. Different cradles can switch the receive audio to a
speaker (Audio Switching), control the PL/DPL decoding disable
with a switch or automatically disable PL/DPL decoding when the
handset is removed from the cradle (Automatic Monitor):
HLN5515A - Automatic Monitor and PL/DPL Disable Switch (Syntor X 9000 / X 9000E, Spectra, A7 MaraTrac)
HLN4504A - Automatic Monitor and PL/DPL Disable Switch (Mitrek, Syntor, Trunked Syntor X, Syntor X 800
MHz, Syntor X)
HLN4505A - Carrier Squelch, Non-audio Switching (Mitrek,
Syntor, Trunked Syntor X, Syntor X 800 MHz, Syntor X)
HLN4519A - Carrier Squelch, Audio Switching (Syntor)
HLN4698A - Carrier Squelch, Audio Switching (basic
MaraTrac)
Headsets:
Headsets are typically used with the EMS rear control head.
They only cover one ear, have an attached microphone and a belt
clip style PTT switch:
TMN6090A - Headset w/ Preamp & Lip Mic (Micor,
Syntor, Syntor X 800 MHz, Syntor X)
TLN5557A - PTT Footswitch (Micor Syntor,
Syntor X 800 MHz, Syntor X)
Miscellaneous:
TLN5277B - DC Power Line Noise Filter, Negative Ground (????)
If you anticipate adding System 90*s accessories to your Syntor
or Syntor X control head stack keep an eye out for cut off cable
ends with the connectors and pins.
